Gathering of Eco‑Champions
On the sunny afternoon of March 22, 2025, Rizal Park in Manila came alive with green energy as micro‑entrepreneurs and advocates gathered for the Entrepinoy Fair – Eco Revolution. This four‑day event, organized by Square One Management Inc. in partnership with the National Parks Development Committee, celebrated zero‑waste entrepreneurship and culminated in a special Earth Hour observance.
Inspirational Talk by JM Dioso
Amidst the buzz of upcycled crafts and hands‑on workshops, the highlight was the inspirational keynote delivered by JM Dioso, co‑founder of Project Payatas PH. Under the park’s towering acacia trees, JM shared the resilience story of Project Payatas—how the mothers of Payatas transform textile waste into livelihood products, weaving hope and community empowerment into every stitch.
Planting Seeds for Tomorrow
Walking away from Rizal Park that evening, hearts were full—and hands were brimming with new ideas. Though our role was to listen and learn, the insights shared by JM have already begun to shape upcoming Project Payatas PH workshops on upcycling and livelihood training. We’re excited to carry this inspiration forward, nurturing small actions that grow into lasting change.
Shared Reflections & Bayanihan
In the gentle flicker of candlelight, strangers became neighbors, swapping zero‑waste tips and stories of personal journeys toward greener living. The atmosphere felt less like an event and more like a community gathering—a true testament to the Filipino spirit of bayanihan, where learning and laughter flowed as freely as the evening breeze.

Sa gitna ng kadiliman, ang bawat indayog ng PyroLights MNL at ang liwanag mula sa mga kandila at ilaw ng mga lumahok sa “Eco Walk” ang nagsilbing simbolo ng ating pagkakaisa, paninindigan, at pag-asa para sa kinabukasan ng ating planeta.
